What is See Stella?

See Stella is a platform that connects clients with expert aesthetic practitioners and provides access to curated skincare and wellness products. It combines a practitioner directory with an e-commerce store to offer a seamless experience.

Who can use Stella?

Anyone 18 + in a region where the app is offered. Stella doesn’t knowingly collect data from minors.

What makes See Stella unique?

A: Create an account, choose Basic or Plus, and follow the in-app prompts to take your first scan—no credit card needed for the free trial.

Do I need special hardware?

Just a standard smartphone camera; no attachments required, however a phone ring light can optimised the accuracy of results where low lighting is present.

Will the app be on iOS and Android?

Yes—App Store and Google Play listings are live (“Coming Soon” for public release).

How It Works

How does the AI scan work?

A neural network trained on 3 M + facial images grades fine lines, hydration, pigmentation and more with ~98 % accuracy, then tracks micro-changes over time.

What skin concerns are measured?

Breakouts, redness, puffiness (fast-changing); pores and dark circles (mid-term); lines, pigmentation and sagging (long-term).

How often should I scan?

Two-to-three times a week is the minimum; daily delivers the sharpest trend lines.

Does lighting matter?

Yes—shoot in good indoor lighting, facing a window or bright lamp, avoiding back-light or harsh shadows for best accuracy.

Plans and Pricing

What’s the difference between Stella Basic and Stella Plus?

Basic (AU $4.95 / m or 49 / y): Daily scans, trend graphs, smart product recs, weather insights.

Plus (AU $9.95 / m or 89 / y): Everything in Basic + wearable sync, Skin- & Eye-Age, zone-level analysis, 28-day Skin-Cycle Report, and AU $10 monthly shop credit.

Is there a free trial?

Yes—pre-register now and get six months of Stella Plus free, plus a Scan Light device when it launches (while stocks last).

How often should I scan?

Two-to-three times a week is the minimum; daily delivers the sharpest trend lines.

How do I cancel or switch plans?

Cancel anytime in-app or via your app-store subscription settings.

Wearables & Integrations

Which wearables connect?

WHOOP, ŌURA, Garmin, Polar, Apple Health, Fitbit, Google Health, Samsung Health and Withings. Each unlocks four Skin Health Indexes: Immunity, Sleep, Training Stress, Respiration.

Do I need a wearable to use Stella?

No—the core image analysis works with just your phone; wearables simply unlock deeper inside-out insights.

Product Recommendations & Shopping

How does Stella recommend products?

The SkinMatch™ engine cross-checks your scan scores, goals and ingredient databases to surface evidence-backed options from a 40 K-product catalogue—and tells you when your current routine is already working.

Does Stella push its own range for profit?

No. Recommendations are objective and clinically backed; the shop’s curated range is “in the mix but never favoured.

What can I buy in the Stella Shop?

Dermatologist-vetted skincare, supplements and more, grouped by concern, category and brand.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and UnionPay.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently Australia-wide; international shipping will launch in phases. Check the cart for availability to your country at checkout.

What’s your return policy?

30 days from delivery, items unused and in original packaging. Contact returns@seestella.com.au to obtain an RMA and prepaid label.

How long do refunds take?

Approved returns are refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days; bank processing may add extra time.

Is Stella a medical service?

No. Insights are educational, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always see a qualified clinician for health concerns.

Is my personal data safe?

No. Recommendations are objective and clinically backed; the shop’s curated range is “in the mix but never favoured.

Can I delete my data?

Absolutely—delete scans, revoke wearable access or close your account in settings; Stella will wipe associated data per its retention schedule.

Does Stella comply with privacy laws like GDPR, CPRA and Australia’s APPs?

Yes—policies are mapped to APPs, CPRA, Illinois BIPA, Washington My Health My Data and GDPR standards.

How fast is customer support?

Stella aims to respond within 24 hours for email and under 5 minutes during live-chat hours.

What currencies are supported?

All pricing is shown in Australian dollars (AUD). International currency display will roll out as new regions launch.
